Jay and I ran around last summer filming fly fishing film makers. We hooked up with WorldAngling’s Dave Tepper in Colorado to film RA. RA has been makin great films for the tour since it started. This is a short piece we put together, kinda like a “get to know your film maker”
Enjoy

Hey
We are just in our way to the Denver airport to pick up our homie Chris Owens for and then off to the bar to meet up with some of the other dudes that make this film tour happen. Some of the filmmakers and us are gonna get sloppy at some Denver local.
Then the plan is to wake up before noon and walk to the International Fly Tackle dealer show to yap and see the newest in new. The ultimate most maximus. The gear that will keep us up at night wishing we could cuddle up with and wisper coy promises of exotic adventure and fine feats of up keep that we will most likely never keep.
Hope to see some of ya there. (some of ya we hope to never see again but, very few.)

Jay and I are running around Colorado this week checking things out, scoping out some rocky mountain water and shooting footage for the Film Tour. We heard rumors there were some big pike taking off the toes of college co-eds tubing down some of the local rivers. Hopefully we will be able to validate if these rumors are true.
The plan was to go out Survivor Man style and live off the land but we opted for the 14 foot camper and organic food from Safeway.
We’ll be posting up some clips from the road here shortly.

As part of our summer time activities Jay and I will be bringing you a series of new video blogs from across the country. We are setting out to hook up with some of the film makers who contribute to the Fly Fishing Film Tour to take you on a behind the scenes look at what these film makers are about and how they are living their dream.
We debut with the crew from World Angling whos film High In The Lowlands was a crowd favorite on the 2010 tour.
Be sure to check out the World Angling web site for all the latest updates on what this motley crew are up to these days
We’re sitting on a bunch of swag and we want to give it to you!
Become a fan of the Film Tour Facebook page and upload your dog photos on our wall.
We are looking for photos that feature your dog accompanying you on the river, lake, boat, beach, trail, truck etc.
The best photos will be compiled and will be featured in the Film Tour magazine, The Stonefly, and also be one of the rotating photos in our pre show slide presentation.
Fans who upload their photos to our Facebook page will be eligible for a bunch of swag we have kicking around the office such as T-shirts, hoodies, Buffs, patches, stickers, fly lines, and fly boxes. We may even throw in a used chew toy or two.
Final judging will take place by our very own shop dog panel
